Welcome to the Self Reflections Section. This is where all of my Self Reflections will be posted throughout Term One. Term One Self Reflection-Posted November 18, 2010 When I look at all of the work in my portfolio, I am pleased that... I tried my best and from what I see, I had a successful year. This may not be shown in my portfolio, but I feel that I helped my school out with a lot of extra things like the Remembrance Day Service, and making other slideshows for the school. I am glad that my school is giving me more responsibility for my last year. I enjoy carrying-out the tasks that they assign me, especially when it is related to technology. My portfolio shows that all my work was done with effort, and was done well. I think my best piece of work is my Techno Squirrel Business Proposal because.... I think this because I got a 100% on the written assignment, and I actually turned my proposal into an actual business. When I was making my proposal, I tried very hard to be realistic and make possible goals, as I planned to carry them out. This is something that I ended up doing. Techno Squirrel is starting to become a well built company, and by 2011, I hope to have the first official business year. I think an assignment that I could have done better on is my Novel In A Can Project because.... I think I could have done better on this project because I rushed a lot of my projects, and didn’t take my time. I had a lot of time, but I think I made the mistake of rushing Novel In A Can to get ready to make the Best Buy Grant Application. I think that it was good that I fit in time to do the Best Buy Grant Application, but I think I could have done better if I took Novel In A Can home for a few days, and finished the project in better quality, and still have good time for the Best Buy Grant Application. Some areas I would like to continue working on are.... Mathematics. I think that I need to work on my math because I have struggled a bit this year. The areas that I have struggled the most in are fractions, and algebra and the BEDMAS procedure. I am trying my best to complete these assignments on time, but I am often failing because I need to work on how I understand them. I would like to improve my math grade my trying to understand the areas of math that I do not understand well. I hope that I will get at least a 90% average in math on my term two report card.
